Behind the tables, the spectacle, and the signature NOLA energy is a dedicated team of leaders, collaborators, and production professionals who make the seemingly impossible happen. At the helm are Tara Frazer and Sonya Cunningham, two experienced producers who come together to create one extraordinary evening.
Meet Tara Frazer
Tara Frazer brings more than two decades of experience in strategic communications, community relations, and event planning. Since 2018, she has hosted Diner en Blanc Charlotte, creating memorable experiences that bring together thousands of guests to celebrate elegance, friendship, and community.
In 2025, Tara expanded her involvement with the international event by joining the New Orleans hosting team. With her background in corporate communications, public relations, and large-scale event coordination, she brings a thoughtful approach to guest experiences, community connections, and event execution. Her passion for bringing people together, creative vision, and commitment to excellence continue to shape the magic and tradition of Diner en Blanc in both cities.
Meet Sonya Cunningham
Sonya Hudgens Cunningham serves as co-host of Diner en Blanc New Orleans, bringing extensive expertise in community and corporate events, strategic partnerships, and public engagement. Her passion for the concept began after attending Diner en Blanc in Washington, D.C., where the unique experience inspired her to bring the event to Greenville, South Carolina.
In 2025, she further expanded her involvement by joining the New Orleans hosting team. While much of her work takes place behind the scenes, her strategic oversight has been instrumental in strengthening the event’s core logistics. Sonya’s professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication consistently elevate the guest experience and contribute to the event’s success.
